So, Shen Yuan was currently experiencing the ‘self insert’ in his least favorite novel? Great and yet that didn’t explain why he was on four, with a ridiculously long tail and some weird antennas! For fucks sake, he was a damn demonic beast, wasn’t he? It would be amazing if he wasn’t in a world where cultivators fucking killed them on sight no matter what and where the protagonist didn’t believe in animal/demonic creatures preservation to avoid the whole ‘extinction’ thing. Actually, more than once the Emperor hunted demonic beasts with the intention of ending their lineage due to one or two attacking his wives! He took the whole ‘equality’ meaning to a whole new dangerous level.
“System, give me a refund! I won’t last in this damn novel as a demonic beast!”

Diluc was fine, he just felt a little light headed. No big deal, he could still function like any other normal living being.
Diluc was still fine, spacing out due to a headache wasn’t rare. Maybe he did it in the worst moment but he’s a pretty busy individual and things like this tend to happen.
Diluc was still feeling fine, everyone was just exaggerating. If anything, this was a silly cold or something, nothing to worry about.
Diluc was… he was going through something, normal humans didn’t grow feathers around their eyes yet here he was… scarlet feathers decorating his skin.
[Or... Diluc ignores his discomfort and it later on comes to bite him in the ass. Kaeya just wants to grab his estranged—but not for long—brother by the head and shake it till he grows a brain because it appears that he doesn’t have one].

The Dawn Winery was silent like it had been ever since the former master perished and the brothers parted but unlike those times, the silence wasn’t dreadful anymore, the brothers were drifting close again. Things were getting better.
Diluc’s more relaxed body was the biggest proof aside from a certain blue haired individual that would come more often than not to pass time in the Winery.

Zhongli’s breath hitched as he laid his gaze on his partner, his lover, his phoenix.

“I doubt that,” Diluc said and Zhongli found ruby's fixed on him, traveling to the depths of his soul
