So begins Shen Yuan’s balancing act of completing these nonsensical missions, hiding his identity, and staying on the good side of the super tsundere, cat-like man known as Shen Jiu, who keeps saying stuff like ‘I’ll kill you if I find out you’re a demon’.
TDLR; this whole fic is an elaborate excuse to write catboy!SY going into heat.

As the days go by, you couldn’t help but be amazed yet very concerned over the way this skeleton consistently ordered the most outrageous, over the top caffeinated beverages imaginable.
How did the ridiculous amount of caffeine consumption not stop this monster’s soul? And why did he, and another, taller skeleton, begin to make themselves at home in the coffee shop in order to sneak furtive and then very obvious looks at you?
