For the first time in a while, they had true, unrestrained control over themself. It made them unsteady for a different reason: they weren’t sure what to do now. Their gaze wandered to the shining light only they could see, and after several seconds of deliberation, they chose to Save. The name on the file was suddenly replaced—no longer the Soul’s, back to Kris. Kris froze, staring at it.
Kris is no longer controlled by the Soul, it might’ve influenced the Dark World somehow, Ralsei’s worried about the state of the Soul and the Prophecy, Susie’s close to learning things she shouldn’t know, and things just keep getting out of hand. Overall, nothing’s going according to plan, and Kris has no idea what to do.
Red just wants to help.
(Basically, an alternate version of Chapter 5 inspired by a dream I had.)

Summary
Susie, moved by the flowers’ determination to live, becomes determined to let them, bringing them to Castletown and dedicating herself to their care whilst Asgore is gone. Flowery is given a nice tape bandage and popsicle stick splint, and she and Kris gently take the trek to the Grand Fountain. However, after school the next day, when she goes to visit them for their daily watering, there is one problem: All of the flowers absolutely REFUSE to go outside of their sunlight. Their encounter with the Knight has terrified them to wilting, and they have become overly involved with Flowery’s care. Ralsei, Susie and Kris now have to try to convince the flowers to come outside and spread their leaves. Flowery’s too kind to say it, but they’re all driving him crazy!

Basically I really liked the fic “I don’t care if it’s Haunted! it’s affordable!” And decided to do my own take on the idea. But added in Pink and the Soul because I love the Soul and Kris’s relationship, and Pink needs some love.

It’s ghosts. The house was so cheap because of ghosts.

Using his good hand, he shifted forward, using all his strength to put weight on one foot, and…
Nothing. He had no strength in his legs right now. He tried again, and again, and each time, they would give way, and another twinge would ripple upwards. On his last attempt, his foot slipped, almost sending him face-first into the dirt. Standing up on his own, let alone walking, was out of the question right now.
Crawling, one-armed, a great distance with very little strength? That wasn’t sensible either. No, right now, all Flowery could do was… stay put.
What a laugh. He was just as useless as a flower.
(That wasn’t right. Flowers weren’t useless… But like this, with no one to see him, what good was he?)
He sighed, feeling the exhaustion catch back up to him. Shuffling into a comfortable position as best he could, Flowery took one deep breath,and called for help.
