Awaiting trial, the Icewing Prince can only hope that he survives this encounter- and that if he does, the following days won't be as awful as the ones behind him.

If Leia didn’t know any better, she’d say he looked almost kind.

And as Palpatine spoke, the lack of Imperial presence, the strangeness of this place, the words Vader had spoken before her brother had vanished—everything came together at once, understanding dawning on Leia in an instant.

He just never considered Yoshizawa could be the first to find him, much less that she’d be staring at him outside a physiotherapy clinic with a look a little in between “witnessing the wonders of nature” and “being held at gunpoint”.
