And then the door slammed shut- no one and nothing else but the sprawling, empty space now between the two of them. The shift of eyes as they met the other, Paul Baker’s obvious flush flaring right along the edges of his cheekbones to add the faintest crimson shadow on his gaze. The twitch of his lips, an attempt of a smile stalled by nerves, of which sent the faintest buzz through Anton’s hands with warmth and firecrackers of anxiety that buried under his skin with no intent on leaving for the rest of the night.
So. A house to themselves. And their friends’ expectations to have Paul Baker with his brain fucked senseless with possibly vice versa.

Jace let out a long-suffering sigh, his hands coming to rest on her thighs to steady her. "Must you fidget so?"
"Must you complain so?" she shot back, not pausing her efforts for even a moment. "I'm doing you a kindness."

Jace is six and twenty now, he’s been married for eight years and has been the Prince of Dragonstone for just as long. Two years prior he became overwhelmed with the busy court life in the capital. So he and Baela moved back to their childhood home, Dragonstone, to settle down and raise their girls together.

Not only had Annabeth predicted it, she's sort of been waiting for it. So really, the most surprising part about all this is that Percy has suddenly found it in his heart to ask to eat her food. If you look at it from that angle—well, she’s kind of touched.
