    Summary

The first things Han knew about Leia was that she was a princess, incredibly bossy, incredibly clever, that she wound him up more than anyone he'd ever met which thrilled him, and a damn good shot.

The second thing he learned was that she was the princess of recently destroyed Alderaan that he'd just flown through the wreckage of, and an Organa.

Or: Having the name Organa is important to Leia, and Han would never even consider asking her to give it up. He never thought she'd offer it to him, though. For Hanleia Appreciation Week 2026 Day 1: Names

    Summary

The start of this whole fiasco is embarrassingly simple, really.

Leia made a face at the tea she picked up from the cafeteria.

"Not up to your exacting standards, Your Worship?" Han drawled, taking a sip of his own tea. It's not up to his either, but he's never going to admit that when he can tease the Princess into glaring at him. He very carefully does not think about why he wants that.

"It's not that," Leia sighed. "I just miss t'iil tea. I ran out of the last I had a few weeks ago and only realized this morning, and it's not easy to find now, you know."

Or: Han goes on a quest for a specific Alderaanian tea Leia misses, totally not because he loves her and wants to do a nice thing. For Hanleia Appreciation Week 2026 Day 7: Free Day
