    The color. The bright, blinding, pink ink used to write his name and address across the back of this envelope. The bright, pink lips in his dream, where he was thrown around and battered like an apple. All about appearances. The skin matters. Finnick tore the envelope open and found a handwritten letter in that same ink. The i’s were dotted with hearts, and the entire thing was written in flowy cursive.

    Finnick would not be able to recount the contents of that letter. They were too vulgar and detailed for him to go through again. The memories it brought back were too vivid, too realistic. He felt his throat get tight and his stomach churn with each beautifully written, terrible word the letter held. The cursive never faltered, swirling together in an extravagant pink string of evil. The words ‘With Love,’ concluded the letter, no name, but Finnick didn’t need one. The person this was written by preferred to go by the name Blossom.

    Things have been going to well for Finnick, living with Haymitch, so something bad has to happen to balance it out of course. Enter, obsessive stalker.
