Summary
Peter Parker is a ghost. After the world forgot he existed, he ripped his two identities apart to survive. Davina „Davie“ Waverly is just trying to pass her exams, practice her magic in peace and ignore the heavy, restless footsteps of her reclusive upstairs neighbor. As a witch living in the heart of New York City, she already has enough on her plate, including two highly judgmental, telepathic cats.
But when something goes wrong and Peter literally crashes onto the pavement outside her window, minding her own business is not an option.
She has a secret she is trying to hide. He is carrying a world of grief he refuses to share.

She nodded instinctively, barely grasping what this meant for both of them. Peter’s expression seemed to fight through every form of surprise, then doubt, to confusion, and soon elation.
“You know who I am…” He repeated, more towards himself than to her. “You know who I am.”
(Against her will, she was taken into a universe where super heroes were real.)

It took Elle exactly four months and two days. Four months and two days full of asking "Where is Peter Parker and why am I the only one remembering him?". If she was honest, she had started to question her own mental stability. Ned and MJ had suggested several times that she should go see a therapist and even threatened to tell her parents if she wouldn't stop asking about this boy, she claimed they've all known their whole lives.
About forgetting/not forgetting, remembering, wanting, regretting and trying to find out who to be without knowing who you're right now.
