Summary
Gojo Satoru had died after his fight with Sukuna, literally cut in half. One moment, Sukuna's grin cut through him along with the space itself, and the next—his body simply stopped responding.
So imagine his shock when consciousness returned, Satoru expected oblivion, or at least something abstract. A Void. A cursed afterlife. Or maybe Nanami waiting with the tired look in his eyes as well as the important people he lost throughout his life.

Warmth.
A steady heartbeat beneath his ear.
The pain scent of clean linen and iron—blood, faint but fresh. A woman's breathing ghosted over his hair.

Satoru tried to inhale sharply.
What came out was a weak, garbled sound.
