Carla leaves Weatherfield with her two daughters and moves to a quiet little cottage in Devon where she is free of stress about work and her horrific past. She's free to reinvent herself, to make new friends, watch her babies grow, and even to rediscover her love of painting and drawing in this sweet little village.
It's just a shame that she develops Kidney Failure and tries to hide it because she's afraid of dying...

After Andarna leaves, Violet is distraught and barely coping. She's catatonic. Andarna was her light, her colour, and now that she's gone, everything is monochrome. Her colour has gone.
This slight rewrite focuses more on Violet's struggle in that first week as we see her inner turmoil as well as the worry of her friends and family, scared that she won't survive the loss of a dragon. Everyone chips in to look after her because what else can they do?
(I feel like everyone moved on far too fast over this part of the book but it broke my heart)

This is the sequel to Love You, Goodbye - in which we ended with Carla giving birth to her and Liam's child after his death.
Begin again starts when Lisa goes to find Carla at the cafe to apologise to her, right before the car scene :) This is a rewrite where we will follow the story of Carla and her two daughters as they embark on their new journey with DS Swain and her troublesome daughter whilst dealing with the difficulties of everyday life.
