Katsuki and Izuku are not actually a couple. They weren't boyfriends, or partners, or hell, even friends. Well, they'd been friends once upon a time, but life has this funny way of ripping people apart. Izuku had learned to accept that all too soon in life.
So they weren't dating. They weren't besties or friends with benefits. Nothing. Actually, they were rivals at the best of times, bitter enemies at their worst. But Katsuki was laying his head in Izuku’s lap on the track field while they ate lunch with their classmates after a half day at school for a holiday.
“You guys are taking this way too seriously.” Hideki grumbled from the grass nearby.

“We’ve talked about this, dear. Your silly idea of not liking girls ‘the right way’ is just a phase. Once you pick a mate, you’ll grow out of it, and the girl you choose will make you happy.”
Mate-pairings between the same sex weren’t against the law or anything, and they weren’t even that taboo. But a pair that couldn’t produce offspring was considered ‘unsuccessful’. Given his father’s standing in society, Izuku could not risk an unsuccessful mate-pairing. He was Japanese political royalty, and no social prince born of Hisashi Midoriya would be unsuccessful.
Izuku swallowed hard, nodding as his mother gently shoved him back towards the cliff ledge.
“Make us proud, sweetie.”

OR: On his 16th birthday, Izuku has to choose a young woman to court, but he truly can't think of any girl his age he'd want to date. No one holds a candle to his best friend, but does he really have a choice?

“Kid, call me next time, please. I get it. I fucking hate my birthdays, too. But you can’t starve yourself. Didn’t your little vigilante help you out?”
Izuku kicked an imaginary rock at his feet. He really didn’t want to admit to the truth, but Dabi was able to guess, regardless.
“You lied to him, too. You told him you ate.” Izuku nodded slowly. Dabi sighed.

Kacchan doesn’t answer. Just moves his hips. Pressing so he’s rubbing his clothed cock against Izuku’s.
