It's been three years of brainstorming sessions, disasters and triumphs, punishingly late nights and straight up all-nighters. Walking out of the Planet at three-thirty a.m. and watching the city wake up over ham and eggs at the diner on Fifth where they make their own hot sauce in-house.
Tonight is Friday. It'll be their third date. Lois is going to invite Clark up for coffee, and Clark is going to do one of two things. Option one: stammer and make up some excuse— he left a load of laundry in the washer, he promised to feed his neighbor's cat—
Option two: he's finally going to spill it. He's going to tell Lois the truth.
She doesn't know which possibility scares her more.

Lois usually has her answers for everything.
He steps forward. “I need to tell you something, Lois. Something I should have told you a long time ago.”
