Summary: Galinda sets up a kissing booth in the Shiz courtyard to donate to the goodliest cause of getting more emeralds for the Emerald City. Needless to say, she’s surprised to see her roommate in front of her. Not one to back down from a challenge, especially to Elphaba Thropp, Galinda calls her bluff, only for confusifying feelings to ensue.

When Elphaba Thropp arrives at Shiz University, she plans to keep her head down, focus on music production, and avoid causing a commotion. She does not expect to be talked into auditioning for an acapella group with a silly name, or to fall head over heels for her charming roommate, Galinda Upland.
Late-night rehearsals and shared harmonies draw them closer, blurring the lines between friendship and something more.
(Basically if Wicked and Pitch Perfect kissed it'd be this story. With way less singing and much more lesbian yearning.)

“Distracting… in a good way?”
“Is there a good way to be distracting, Galinda?”
“I believe there is a very good way to be distracting, Elphie.”
Or: Wicked should have been for the lesbians. This is a Gelphie at Shiz burn in the “in betweens” of scenes in the musical (act 1) / movie with book references where things went slightly differently the night of the Ozdust Ballroom and set a different story in motion.

That brief surge of generosity she had been feeling towards her annoying co-worker is quickly starting to recede as she unlocks her phone to start typing a response and-
