It’s even cooler that their captain is so close with Hollander. The two are like, best friends or platonic soulmates or something.
Alternatively: 5 times the Boston Bears should’ve guessed that Hollander and Rozanov were totally gay for each other + 1 time when everyone knew (Except Carmy).

Goalie Shane - Captain Ilya.
Both play for Boston thanks to Ilya. They are insperable and clearly made for each other.
The story takes the 5 + 1 format and is told from the POV of 5 team mates. Marleau, Hammersmith, St Simon, a rookie named Danny and Cody Sebbins.
I have read sparkling reviews of 2 other Goalie!Shane fics but this one felt different to me. The vibe was different. More intimate maybe.
For me it being complete and under 15k words is an extra added bonus. I haven't explored yet but I would love to read this from Shane or Ilya's perspective.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended.

His eyes see Shane, and fuck, it’s good – but his mind sees tomorrow, and the next day, and the next, and finds them all lacking.
Ilya isn’t doing so well during his first few months in Ottawa. He tries not to make a thing of it.

Shane is not a Villian! He loves Ilya the best way he knows because he isn't psychic.
