“She has a point,” Yeshua said. “We’re not enough. The three of us choosing everyone's fates isn't any better than the two of you doing it, other than the fact we have an extra opinion.”
“It would be difficult to fit eight billion people in here,” Adam said.
“And lots of us make terrible choices,” Warlock said, darkly.
“Excellent point,” Aziraphale mused. “What do you suggest?”
Pepper sighed. “Much as I hate the intrinsic biases inherent in modern democracy and our justice systems, I think you’ve got to follow the human lead on this one.”
“Huh?” Adam said.
“A few representatives with different interests working towards a common goal,” Pepper said. “Three’s not enough. Eight billion is too many.”
“That’s quite a wide range,” Crowley said.
“What about twelve?” Yeshua asked.

Summary
Crowley and Aziraphale were now nothing more than fading memories, love, and belief.
Crowley and Aziraphale knew, though, better than any being in the universe, Herself included, the all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-benevolent abilities—not nature, but potential—of memory, love, and belief.
So Aziraphale thought 'wait,' because he believed he could, because he loved everything he was choosing to give up, and because he remembered. Crowley heard him, because he loved him, because he believed in third options in binary selection, and because he remembered, too.
It begins, as it has not quite ended, in a garden. In this case, the Garden of Eden.

Summary
Merlin slept for a week after bringing Arthur back from Camlann. Arthur worried Merlin had somehow imparted his own life force into him, draining himself, but Gaius assured him it was most likely just the level of magic Merlin had used that had exhausted him.
Accounts from the area certainly seemed to confirm that story. People had seen a god, or so they said. When Arthur lifted the magic ban, it passed almost without resistance. Whatever Merlin had done, whatever he’d been, people had seen the divine, and known it was magic itself.
When magic itself woke, he told Arthur never to do that to him again, and called him a variety of names for good measure.

Aziraphale turned to him. “You worked on them?”
“Designed ‘em,” Crawley said. “Built ‘em up, then set them spinning. Let there be light!”
As he said it, he drew his hand downwards in a snapping gesture, as he would to perform a miracle if his wings were a different colour, and Aziraphale couldn’t stifle the gasp that rose in his throat.
Crawley looked at him. “What?”
“I met you,” Aziraphale said, and he was so caught up in the rapture of it that he didn’t notice every muscle in Crawley’s body tense.

Elphaba woke with a gasp.
Fiyero was bolt upright a second later. Elphaba was already out of bed, pulling her boots on.
“What are you doing?”
“She’s in danger,” Elphaba said, throwing a cloak on. “I know it, the way I knew with Nessa. I won’t be too late again. I can’t.”
Fiyero leapt up, grabbing her arm. She tugged it out of his grip, and turned to pack a bag.
“You can’t. It’s too dangerous. I’ll go, you stay here.”
“I can’t,” she said. Her heart was pounding in her ears, terror choking her. “I can’t lose her too, Fiyero, I can’t.”
She thought of a stone door, and the last she’d seen of Glinda’s face. She thought of Ozdust, and pink tucked behind her ear, and the pamphlet Glinda had written in.
I hope you get what your heart desires.
It’s you, Elphaba had wanted to say, but she couldn’t just take what she wanted.
