Ben Solo, single dad, businessman, and millionaire, is a little annoyed that he's so attracted to his daughter's nanny. But he's done a lot of work on himself and he's determined to be both a better dad and a better person. He'll be professional with Rey. Except that he has to hide a lot more than an inconvenient attraction. She doesn't know she's the sole normie in a house currently housing two selkies, a cyclops, a werewolf, and a vampire.
Ben tries, but how long can a selkie resist the instinct to give his heart away?
Rey isn't sure why everyone at Skye House is so strange. It can't just be wealth, right? That might explain the aqaurium-like facets of the house and the eccentric owner, but it doesn't explain why one of the staff would attack Ben in the middle of the night. Or why he would vacillate wildly between friendliness and complete avoidance...

Ten months after the Battle of Crait, the Last Jedi and the Supreme Leader of the First Order have kept their bond tightly shut, allowing the seeds of their mutual rejection to blossom into hurt and anger. When the location of the Resistance base is revealed, Rey must make the ultimate sacrifice: the lives of her allies and friends, in exchange for yielding her freedom to the First Order, indefinitely.
But new threats soon lead to the discovery that Rey cannot draw lines between the Dark and the Light as easily as she once thought, and blur the boundaries between hatred, lust, and—eventually—a deeper bond than neither she nor Kylo Ren could have ever conceived of.

Rey has gone undercover on the new Star Killer base, Kylo Ren is pretending to be a man named Matt who has been assigned to be her new work partner. She knew this mission would be hard but dealing with Kylo, who seems set on just being angry and completely uneducated in how to fix anything, might be just too extreme to pull off. Keeping him from finding out who she really is just add's to the pile of trouble fate seems set on dealing. If Rey could maybe figure out why he's there, and why he's pretending as well to be someone else, maybe she could figure a way out of this mess. Alive.
(loosely based on the Star Wars undercover boss SNL skit, the plot is actually serious and a long slow burn.)

In the end, she has to hand it to him— he'd always been an expert in taking her by surprise, and it would appear that he's chosen not to shake the habit even in death.
"Rey Skywalker?" There's a vaguely sardonic twist to the corner of his mouth. "Does that make you my cousin now?"
"It seemed like a fitting tribute," she says in wooden tones. Be it dream or vision, she might as well play along— draw this out until reality comes crashing back. Who knows when he'll come to her again as solid and as vibrant as this?
"I see." Suddenly he's leaning into her, their faces so close together. "Tell me," he murmurs, his lips almost brushing against hers, "have you ever heard of the term kissing cousins?"
She registers the smell of alcohol on his breath at the same time that his eyes flutter shut and he slumps face-down into her lap, snoring softly. You're alive, is all she can think at first, staring down at his head of lush black hair.
Ben Solo is alive.
Alive and very, very drunk.

Ruling an evil fascist organization is hard (at least a lot harder than Ben Solo thought) and that ginger menace won't let him alone for one kriffing minute, so who's to blame him if he occasionally sneaks out of his quarters disguised as a stormtrooper? And what if, theoretically, he puts on Holoporn to keep people from entering his quarters and noticing that he's not home? There's nothing - and I mean nothing - that could go wrong with this plan. After all, even Supreme Leaders need a moment of alone time to daydream about the Last Jedi now and then.
Rey of Jakku is confused, and impatient, and a little bit mad at her Dyad in the Force, and it's high time that they have a chat about all those confusing, irritating emotions between them, so she sneaks onto Ren's Star Destroyer to finally get some answers from Kylo Ben. The only problem? It sounds like he's already found someone else to 'talk' to. Well... that just won't do, will it?
