Summary
Post ST5, everyone is alive and well, even El, thank god. Vecna is defeated, the government is gone, and Hawkins is forever changed. Max now lives with Dustin and his mom, the Byers and Hoppers have come together as a family, and life is good. After everything The Party decides to make the best of their summer and their senior year, everyone decided to get help for their trauma and learn to be productive well meaning teenagers.. that's a lie they're gonna do stupid teenager shit that they never got to do. Everyone has emotionally developed as people and the Party know exactly how they wanna spend their last years as teenagers: living life.
But while everyone seems to be true to who they are just more mature, there is a pair of step-siblings that have a similar past yet turned out completely different.
Now that Hawkins is forever traumatized by monsters and the world almost ending, Will uses this time to be who he is out loud without any care in the world. El Hopper is used to being seen in a certain way and getting treated a specific way by the people around her because of everything that has been happening, but now that the world is no longer ending she now has to adjust to being treated like everyone else.

That was another thing about his boss. He was a huge flirt. But it didn't mean anything, it never did. He was the GM of a fine dining establishment— charming patrons was a part of the job description. Maybe sometimes that blinding ray of charm was flashed upon Will, but he had just figured it was hard for MJ to turn it off.
