It’s a shame really, that he was almost at the top floor. The feeling of falling settles in the pit of his stomach as he plummets.

He clicks through his different cartridges, looking for something, anything to break his fall. He’s kicking himself for not having the time to make more web fluid. Because now he’s plummeting, the ground coming up faster and faster – and this is usually when Mr Stark swoops in, saves the day and then chastises him for not being prepared enough.
Except there’s no Mr Stark to save him this time, and all he can think is that he’s letting the older man down.or,

“The safe sex talk, Pete. That what we’re apparently doing right now.” Mr. Stark says it so bluntly, like it’s both no big deal and an inconvenience all at once. Peter feels his stomach drop to his toes. He thinks that he’s somehow managed to both pale and blush at the same time, which really shouldn’t be possible. The hot panicky feeling makes a light sweat instantly bead over his skin.
“Mr—Mr. Stark we… uh, we really don’t have to…” Peter starts, eyes firmly glued to the floor now as his face burns.
“Well apparently we do, Kid.” Mr. Stark puts his hands up in a ‘what can you do’ kind of way. “Because I just got blood results back on you that are positive for HIV.”

Peter grins as his fingers flex on the metal railing, preparing to let go, to plummet gracefully (because he can be graceful, okay?). His fingers loosen and-
"Kid?"
Fahhhhhhh...
Peter indistinctively grips the railing tighter, metal bending slightly under his grip. He loosens his grip a bit, just enough so it wouldn't break the railing. He slowly turns around, dread pooling in his stomach. "Yes?" Peter bites out, annoyed.
Then he freezes.
"Kid, why don't you get behind the railing?" Sam Wilson--the frickin Falcon asks him, hands gripping the straps of his metal wings, almost as if he were trying to look casual, but failing miserably. "Why don't we talk about this?"
Or: Peter wants to go home, via jumping off a roof at SI. Sam Wilson lands on the very same roof at the same time and misunderstands the situation.
