Summary
“I was… watching them kiss, I felt…,” Tango sighed, nibbling on his lip. It was a bad habit which he always resorted to when he couldn't get his words in the correct order – which was basically every time he opened his mouth – and resulted in his lips constantly being chapped. “Not jealous. I just wanted to be involved. Wanted my own turn.”
“You panicked because you wanted to kiss your boyfriend?” Impulse asked, sounding like he was about to take back his previous words about Tango's feelings not being stupid.
“Not… not exactly.”
“Oooh…” Zed hummed in realisation, his eyes lighting up and a smile pulling at his lips. “You panicked because you wanted to kiss your boyfriend’s husband.”

Summary
He walks into the restaurant. It’s not really his usual sort of place. Some family-owned diner that’s generally pretty empty. Logan figures they must be close to closing up for the night, and he turns to go, but not before his eye catches a light blue shirt in the corner.
And before Logan knows what he’s doing, his feet are carrying him over to that corner table.

Summary
“It’s on me,” a voice says, and Jess looks over to see the blonde guy sliding into the empty seat beside him.
Jess raises his eyebrows, looking away from the guy, playing it cool. “Alright.”
“You from around here?” blonde guy asks.
Jess snorts. “Real original. Does that line usually work for you?”
Blonde guy laughs. “Depends.”

Summary
Jess freezes. “What the fuck?” he says, but then he blinks and he’s right back in his bed at his apartment, and the other place is gone.
He sits up, massaging the sides of his temples to center himself. It’s not that he hasn’t heard of this sort of thing happening—it happens to nearly everyone. You get to a point in your life when you’re getting close to connecting with your soulmate, and you start switching places with your future self, into your future self’s body, when you’re with your soulmate, to help you know who you’re looking for. Some people switch more than others, and it’s always for different periods of time, person to person.
The problem is, Jess really didn’t think it would ever happen to him. Because he honestly didn’t think he actually had a soulmate.

Summary
“Well, this is a surprise.”
Logan turns around at the sound of Jess’s voice, remembering the reason he came here.
“What are you doing here?” Jess asks, crossing his arms.
“I got an invitation.”
“It wasn’t sent to you.”
“Well, it was sent to my apartment.”
“Didn’t read the name on the envelope? Huh. Didn’t know it was possible to be so rich that they let you into Yale even if you’re illiterate.”
Logan sets his jaw. “Fuck you.”
“Right back at you.” Jess turns to go.
“Hey,” Logan says, putting a hand on his shoulder and spinning him around again. “We’re not done here.”
“Yes, we are,” Jess says. “This is my workplace, and my event, and I’m saying we’re done, so we’re done.” He pushes Logan’s hand off of him. “Excuse me.”

Unknown: Jess but I’m not sure why you care
Logan: is that short for Jessica?
Unknown: No
Logan: just Jess then
Unknown: Just Jess
Logan: sorry to bug you Just Jess
Unknown: Don’t worry about it
And that’s where it really started.

Summary
“I’m not supposed to like boys. It’s…It’s not right. Not how we were designed.” Max replied robotically, still refusing to meet Richie’s worried gaze, stewing in guilt once again. He’d burdened someone else with his problems, another one of his dad’s many rules broken.
Richie’s heart shattered into a million tiny bits before being stepped on and then burnt in an incinerator and scattered across the ends of the earth.
