It was a bad habit which he always resorted to when he couldn't get his words in the correct order – which was basically every time he opened his mouth – and resulted in his lips constantly being chapped. “Not jealous. I just wanted to be involved. Wanted my own turn.”
“You panicked because you wanted to kiss your boyfriend?” Impulse asked, sounding like he was about to take back his previous words about Tango's feelings not being stupid.
“Not… not exactly.”
“Oooh…” Zed hummed in realisation, his eyes lighting up and a smile pulling at his lips. “You panicked because you wanted to kiss your boyfriend’s husband.”

“Didn’t read the name on the envelope? Huh. Didn’t know it was possible to be so rich that they let you into Yale even if you’re illiterate.”
Logan sets his jaw. “Fuck you.”
“Right back at you.” Jess turns to go.
“Hey,” Logan says, putting a hand on his shoulder and spinning him around again. “We’re not done here.”
“Yes, we are,” Jess says. “This is my workplace, and my event, and I’m saying we’re done, so we’re done.” He pushes Logan’s hand off of him. “Excuse me.”
