Feeling challenged, Soul raised his torso a little as he slid his heels over the leather, then he continued. “Tell me, I might surprise you. You don’t know all there is to know about me you know.” He affirmed, sinking the chip into his mouth. Maka stared at him perplexed, pulling her book closer to her chin with both hands. More muddled than not, she realized what he said was very true, she didn’t know all there was to know about him, but something about it bothered her, he was her partner, for a long time now, was she feeling jealous? If so of who? Incompetent? She wasn’t sure.
A disappointed Maka is left hanging on a girl date, so now that her afternoon is wasted, she’s sort of stressed, but worry not, because Soul has a suggestion as to how they could spend the evening together, however some things go unplanned and… it goes way astray from what they had in mind.

“Penelope!” he calls, shucking his overcoat at the door. He considers for a moment keeping it on, knowing how Penelope likes the figure he cuts in the flowing brown coat, but he cannot abide having any more fabric than strictly necessary between them when he finds her. “Pen!”
“Sir!” comes Rae’s voice as she appears from the doorway across from the stairs. “Sir, thank goodness. We were worried when you did not return home as scheduled.”
“Apologies, Rae,” he says to her, smiling as politely as he can manage. “The roads were washed out. Where is Mrs. Bridgerton?”
“She is in her room, sir,” she starts.
“Excellent,” he interrupts again. “Please see that no one disturbs Mrs. Bridgerton or myself.”
“Sir, wait—”
“Thank you, Rae.” He is already halfway up the stairs, unable to really think or hear properly in his lustful madness. If he had, he would have heard the worry and urgency in his wife’s faithful lady’s maid’s voice. As it is, he keeps going up the stairs, two at a time.
“Sir!” Rae practically shouts from the bottom of the stairs. “Sir. Wait.”///
Penelope is hurt in an accident. Colin takes care of her.

As he wraps his arms around her, gathers all her plushness to his chest, his nose is filled with her scent.
And Colin Bridgerton forgets the performance. Forgets that he has to be careful with her. Forgets that his family are about two feet away.
Because she smells fucking divine. Not the right word, surely — too exalted for the earthiness, the rich salt that makes his jaw work and his tongue press to the roof of his mouth and his fingers dig into the rolls on her back. Does she always smell like this, he wonders — this dirty, bright and cloying — or did she just forget deodorant? He can't recall — can't recall anything, except the vivid musk of her, fresh and sweet like the cut stalks of flowers, sweat and tang and — fuck — he's hard. Hard and leaking, immediately and so profusely it kind of feels like he's pissed himself. Fuck. Fuck.
OR: Colin comes home from travelling and realises he likes the way Penelope smells

Her blouse was open. Fully. Her breasts—drawn with brutal precision—looked soft, heavy, revered. Her thighs spread, unapologetic. Even her necklace was captured—the fine gold chain she wore under her shirt every day. That he’d never seen.
Or so she thought.
She turned the page.
Another one.
This time her legs were up on a desk. Her desk. Her skirt hitched up. Lips parted mid-laugh—except there was nothing funny about it. It was hunger in ink. He’d drawn her looking like a temptation no god could resist.
