She doesn’t want to be alone.
So she goes to Silco. Not for sex—though she does secretly want him—but for comfort. After all, he just told her to always let him know when she needs him.
And so, two traumatized people continue to forge a relationship—a stronger family unit.

Summary
The day after the cannery explosion, Silco brings Jinx news of Violet’s fate.
Jinx worries that if Vi is still around, she may change her mind and try to get Powder back. And Jinx might be tempted to give in, to go back to the sister she loved in every way, with all her heart.
But Vi broke Powder, casting her aside. And Jinx refuses to be that weak little girl anymore.
So learning that her ex-sister is dead should be a relief.
Right?
...right?
Whatever the case, Silco is there to support Jinx through any storm that may come…even one from within her own mind.

Summary
Silco never acts on impulse; every action, every word, every breath, he calculates with precision. He can point to a sense of responsibility or obligation or evolutionary paternal instinct as easy outs, but in truth, he took Jinx in without consideration for what it would mean for either of them. And every moment he spends with her exists in the present only. Like an airship whose captain jammed the wheel to wander off, his time spent with her takes place outside his head.
Beginning exactly where season 1 episode 3 ends, Silco takes Powder home, and so begins the monumental task for both of them to rebuild. Their broken pieces slot together in a way that catches Silco off guard, but not in a way he resists, because he recognizes the strength in it. He made her a promise he intends to keep: we will show them all.
