Summary
After finally arriving in Ithaca and reuniting with his family, Odysseus does not notice at first. Sure, it was weird that most of his old clothes, which he left behind, were missing but he assumed a maid had stored them in the storage halls. Well until those were recovered, he just had to make do with the garments he had still found in his closet, which were a bit big on him. During their first breakfast as a complete family after 20 years of being forced apart though, he finally does notice: His sons garments look suspiciously similar to his old missing clothes!
Telemachus is nervous of his father being home. Of course he feels elated and cannot wait to get to know him but does he even want him as his son? After all, he could not even protect his mother from a handful of suitors while his father managed to end their terror all by himself?

(Takes place a few years after the end of Jube's fic; recommend reading their wonderful fic beforehand, otherwise you may be confused)By all accounts, he thinks that nothing’s happened to him until he feels new sensations coming from his back. Sensations that extend beyond his back. After holding his breath and counting backwards from five, Bruce turns his head to look behind him and, yep, he’s got real, actual bat wings sprouting from his back. Great.
Whilst fighting a group of cultists, Batman is hit by a magic beam that turns his purely mechanical wings into real muscle and skin. Superman, of course, helps him through it.
