Or, Tony Stark has been a foster parent for a few years. He tries to avoid any kids old enough to talk back, but when a social worker calls him with a teenage boy who has no place else to go, Tony reluctantly agrees. Peter is almost completely self sufficient, used to foster homes where nobody pays much attention to him. These new arrangements are uncharted waters for both of them.
