It was a low blow, but Jayce wouldn’t be in his lab because of his condition- it was an opportunity he couldn’t waste. That’s what he thought, at least, until a bullet dinged off his armour as soon as he had cracked the door open. Fucking Kirramen’s.
So now he was breaking into Jayce’s penthouse. His mask would filter out any pheromones that might muddle his thinking, and surely Jayce would be… otherwise occupied. ‘By himself.’ his mind preened with satisfaction. The doors swung open silently, oiled and tightened to perfection no doubt, and Viktor stepped inside.
