“Is that..?” Prism looks over at Flambae. He's staring, mouth half open in shock.
The man dressed in a black skin tight super suit with a cowl and an unmistakable M stretched across his chest looks around the room.
“It's gotta be Prime, right?” Malevola puts down her sword. “Or Astral? Maybe?”
The man chuckles. “Not quite.” He pulls off his cowl to reveal a head of brown hair greying at the temples with a familiar notch in his ear. He has a pretty severe scar running through his right eyebrow and down his cheek.
“Holy shit.” Prism’s mouth drops open.

So, he does what any smart man would do; goes behind his back and gives a phone to his daughter, telling the child to call him in case of an emergency.
Which is why Trucy is currently resting peacefully on his lap at 3 in the morning.

Summary
Phoenix Wright seems to be lying to himself, one way or another, and the psyche locks that steel themselves around his mind seem to say as much.
He tries to present evidence to himself in an attempt to break them and figure it out, but he can feel the psychological damage when his evidence is wrong. Seeing how Maya Fey is up in the mountains, and he doesn’t think Trucy would be able to get him the evidence he needs, he asks Miles Edgeworth, Chief Prosecutor and close friend, to help him out.

Ever since they had reconnected, Miles had come to learn that Phoenix was rather tactile with his close friends. This was not a problem, really. Miles would never admit it, but he cherished the moments when Phoenix would touch his arm or pat him on the back. He thought about these moments often, when no one was around to see him blush. The problem was, Miles was not really used to people touching him. His father was loving, but von Karma was another story. Growing up in that enormous estate may have been glamorous on the outside, but on the inside it was cold and uninviting. Miles rarely got more than a firm handshake from his former guardian. Phoenix’s voice brought him back to reality. “Miles? You ok there?”
Five times Phoenix surprised Miles, and one time Miles returned the favour.
