Bob’s jaw tightens. “Don’t call me that.”
John doesn’t apologize, just shrugs under him. “Hit me then.”
Bob hesitates again. Then he pulls his arm back—still straddling John—and goes for it. A clean punch, not fast, but committed.
John is lonely and somewhat depressed, but so is Bob. Somewhere along the line, they get used to each other’s silences, odd as they find it.

“Yeah, you’re definitely not an asshole right now,” Bob whispered.
Or: After living in the tower for a while John Walker finds he and Bob's relationship becomes as taut as a rubber band, one move and the tension will snap it.

Summary
Optimus Prime and Megatron, the two great leaders of the Autobots and Decepticons respectively have been spirited away due to a malfunctioning tractor beam, though that malfunction may have just been the missiles that were shot at it. With them gone, the Autobots and Decepticons are left to their own devices to figure out how to get them back, the only problem with that though is that they're both left with one half of the puzzle. Forced to work together, old wounds are reopened and missed connections are reforged creating a hot bed of drama and potentially... Peace?

The Decepticons, having had enough of Galvatron’s madness and desperate for peace, have surrendered en masse to the Autobots. In working out a peace treaty, the terms of which include giving each faction half of the planet to rule, the Autobots rediscover the concept of the High Protector and decide to give it the old college try. Ultra Magnus, ever the loyal and dutiful soldier, reluctantly becomes Galvatron’s protector. And Cyclonus, as Magnus’s equal and opposite in all ways, must become Rodimus Prime’s protector. Ugh.

It's hard to keep a straight face at that.
Clark's lips curve into a fond smile as he chuckles and shakes his head, leaning back against his seat, a hand rubbing across the nape of his neck.
"Yeah. Maybe I have. The coffee's great here. And the company is really nice." Clark offers a smile as he meets Bruce's eyes, holding his gaze for a beat too long before returning it to his pie.
He doesn't miss the way Bruce's heart rate stutters at his comment.

After sharing Rodimus’ heat with him, Thunderclash didn’t expect their interactions in the day-to-day to change. Especially considering the thinly veiled distaste the red mech harbored for him. Rodimus had his reasons for it, Thunderclash was sure of it, but it didn’t make it sting any less when the speedster gave him the cold shoulder.
Thunderclash is in for the surprise of his lifecycle when Rodimus approaches him with a proposition that is likely too good to be true. But will Rodimus leave him spark-broken?
