Despite her human creators fleeing into space, she has been instructed to remain on Earth. Under the strict and careful watch of her supervisor, "Alice," Damson does her best to carry out the task assigned to her. Her job is to observe, document and measure the harmful levels of various oxides and dioxides and things not including the word 'oxide', that lead to humanity abandoning their home in the first place; all in the faint hope that one day, the conditions may be safe enough for their return.
