    ...and there, his love for analysing blossomed in his chest and there he finds something safer and with an equal level to heroism.

    At least, that was at first.

    Things get deeper as Izuku dives into the depths of things, clearly where his nose doesn’t belong.

    It had its up and downs, being both the successor to the worlds greatest hero and the strongest mortal magic user around. Still, he wouldn't get rid of his powers and everything they entailed no matter what. He was happy being the hero, the demon hunter, the occasionally sassy b*tch of a witch Izuku "Deku" Midoriya. It had no shortage of heartwarming moments, exhilarating adventures, enraging events.

    Still, sometimes it also resulted in a lot irritation as well. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he constantly wondered if the Outsider was incompetent or just a massive troll deliberately making mistakes to enjoy the chaos they wrought.

    (The untold stories and events of "Mark of a Hero" AKA Where deleted scenes and small bonus stories that don't fit the normal story go.) (Prequel, sequel and also set during the events of Mark of a Hero. Read that first or you won't understand anything here.)

    At a young age, Midoriya Izuku loses someone very close to him. After the experience he spends some time searching himself and sorting out his head. He decides to spit in the face of adversity, and challenge the world of heroism, albeit quirkless, at least... to his knowledge. He is determined to move on, and be the hero who will prevent the same tragedy from happening to others. He is still the kind boy he once was, but every now and then, he slips up and shows glimpses of his grief. Slowly, ever so slowly, eating away.

     

    Or the fic where I try to turn Izuku's "dream", into a "conviction". and give him the powers to go through with it! >:)
