Summary
Over the last month, Marie's life had been turned upside down. Undead-Cannibals had literally overrun society... she was living out of a campervan with: her brother, their overprotective self-proclaimed rednecks, and the three kids she'd found on what was supposed to be a normal run for supplies.
The discovery of the Greene's Farm marks changes on the horizon for the Dixon-Rhee's and the rest of the Quarry Group, as tension and dissent begins to rise through the ranks.

“Penny,” he panted, voice low and shaky, “I must apologize for the excessive application of kinetic force combined with disproportionate frequency modulation.”
She blinked, breathless, utterly spent, and let out a broken laugh.
“What?”
He shifted behind her, still wrapped around her, forehead pressed to her damp skin.
“For being rough,” he clarified.
