Summary
The Dark Lord has returned. Harry still has every intention to follow through with his plans of becoming a dark wizard, but Hogwarts is more dangerous than ever with a new Defense Professor watching their every move and the violent hair trigger that Harry knows that he is on.
His friends—close friends, that is—believe him and are doing their best to look out for him, but more than half the school now believes him to be the future Dark Lord or a liar, neither of which are good options. Harry had said before that with his friends—primarily Draco, though he omits that every time he thinks about this—by his side, he’d be able to get through anything, but the truth of that statement is truly put through the test in this coming year.

Summary

Harry and Snape are thrown together by annoying relatives, a series of strange dreams, and Voldemort's latest hunt for Harry, but their greatest challenge may well be surviving each other. This will be a long summer unless the two can find a way to work together. A slow-burn enemy-to-mentor story.

complete, 61 chapters, HOWEVER, a sequel may be in the works!!, Harrys 6th year, shape is found out as a traitor, and trapped at the dursleys for a bit, they get out, and snaps and Harry grow closer, then Harrys captured, and snaps endeavors to save him, and they grow even closer, term starts, and Harry ends up saving snape from death via dark mark, and on the epilogue albums drops guardianship papers on Severus, angsty, long, but so sweet, and for being such a large diversion from canon, it felt so natural, plotty, and the world building is subtle and distinct from canon, but so good
