Your world… It was full, by all reports, of heroes, during that war that they kept going on about, and there are precious few of them… Precious few of them… Who were left alive at the end of it. And he was clear, very clear, wasn’t he, when he left you here with instructions that you be kept safe, at the possible - no, definite - expense of my own family… That it wasn’t over?”
Eleven-year-old Harry says nothing. Petunia Dursley turns her head and looks at him.

Summary
One different choice, just one, puts Harry Potter on an entirely new path in life. A path where he gets the help he needs and deserves with adults that actually do their jobs and with a Magical Guardian that is willing and able to truly keep him safe in all his years at Hogwarts and beyond.
Meet a Harry Potter that might be many shades darker than in the canon books, but who also is so much happier and safer. There will be dark times, distress and angst, but in the end, happiness will prevail. This is a feel good, or at least feel content, story and the reader should never doubt that Harry and his friends will come out on top, no matter what difficulties they might face. After all, they have a lot of competent and highly protective adults on their side.
