Summary
In a miraculous turn of events, Ivan somehow survives his suicide attempt and wakes up in the hospital. As he navigates his complicated emotions, his relationship with Andrew seems to spiral out of control weather its in a good way or a bad way.
What's worse is that the tumor has been real silent ever since Ivan woke up, only fueling his anxiety of hurting his beloved friend.

A probably OOC what-if for if Ivan didn’t go through with taking his life at the end of scene 16. Happier than canon, but not intended to be without strife for these characters. Written because I prefer endings where there’s hope for the character to improve, even if in canon they probably aren’t willing to face such change.

Andrew said never to contact him again, and if it's one thing he learned from his therapy sessions, it was to listen. Hear others out on their problems with you if you want them to hear you as well.
So he would hear, and he'd listen.
He wouldn't try to find or bother Andrew.4 years ago, he would've broken down if you told him he was capable of being better. Would've told you you're lying to him.
Now, if you said that, he'd just smile and say he's already become better– and filled that void where the unhappiness used to settle.
