Flins' smile widens mischievously. Oh no.Illuga is certain his behavior in bed must repulse Flins, and ends up getting a very thorough demonstration of exactly how wrong he is.

Summary
Flins catches Illuga smoking. He feels very normal about it.
As Illuga breathes in, Flins feels the plant fibres burn in his flame, but most vividly, the image returns: the embers of the cigarette lighting up azure, himself travelling along their path, past Illuga’s lips, his throat, burning in his lungs as his broad chest expands, penetrating his bloodstream, spreading outward into his strong limbs and stronger heart, being absorbed by Illuga wholly and fully, and it makes him feel more heady than anything he’s ever consumed in the past.

It happened more often than Illuga liked. Not every night. At least that would have given him a chance to collect himself before bed. Instead, it surfaced sporadically, every few nights. There was no rhyme or reason to it, and it made him miserable.
The nightmares always found him.

“You’re interested in me.” It was not a question. Despite the teasing tone, Flins’ face remained impassive. “No shame in that, Young Master.”
“That’s–,” Illuga huffed, running his hand through his hair. “Must you always be like this?”
“I don’t see what you mean,” he said, staring at him with his ever-imposing, lifeless eyes. “I did just say that it’s alright.”
“I’m merely trying to understand. You don’t need to bother with the flirting that you always use to deflect the question, you know – I’m not like everyone else.”
“You sure aren’t,” Flins said with an enigmatic smile as he poured another glass for him.
“And stop with the water, I’ve already drunk three glasses.”
“And yet you still seem thirsty.”
Illuga grit his teeth, forcing the rush of blood to his cheeks to desist. “Don’t make me any angrier than I already am, Sir Flins.”
