Even now, having become (for all intents and purposes) a full-fledged human, the unending, multifaceted complexities of the human experience never ceases to dazzle her. Thankfully, she will not experience it alone.

Summary
"A few hours later, he was pulled out of his dreams of finding Levi with Hummer by the feeling of two hands, one gently squeezing his shoulder and the other rubbing soft circles on the very top of his back, right between his shoulders.
He could hear Hummer's voice, quietly calling his name. The warmth of his hands and sound of his voice made Wifies want to stay there longer, and he hesitated before he slowly lifted his head, turning to look at Hummer, who was standing right by his side and looking a bit concerned."
OR: Wifies and Hummer are both working too hard, so they take a break to go explore the new biome together.
Not rlly RPF, I view this Wifies as a fictional character, not the actual person.

Summary
The ocean is cold and massive and unforgiving but for a moment, just a moment, as his breath is taken away, with Hummer the last thing he sees, he feels like he’s in the softest embrace.
Or some of Wifes's new habits after the search.

Summary
You think he loves you.
He doesn’t know you, not fully, because you don't let him. The sea has taken a liking to him, the ocean welcomes him and Levi is so close it almost hurts. He’s not aware, he isn’t committed to his belief, he sees you and not the great being down there. He loves you first, you are his favourite. He cherishes the part and not the whole, your chest aches knowing that’s not enough.
Or, Hummer is a part of Leviathan and Wifies loves him first.

Summary
Hummer couldn't remember a lot from his life before the Leviathan.
He couldn't remember most of his childhood. He couldn't remember his parent's faces.
He couldn't even remember his name.
He didn't need to know it, anyways.
Because he had something to have faith in. Something to finally fill the void in his chest, something to give him a reason to exist.
Something to make him more than merely the sum of his parts.
