Summary
Tim was not expecting to wake up after he died. He definitely wasn’t expecting to wake up with one hell of a cold in his ten-year-old body, six months after Jason had been adopted by Bruce. Now he has to figure out how to integrate with the family in a way that saves Jason from his death and saves Damian from his horrible life all the while trying to figure out why everyone seems to be giving him so much time and attention and love.
The rest of the batfamily are just trying to take care of this gremlin of a ten year old who doesn't understand why people would want to love him.

When Tim was seven years old, he remembers sitting all alone in his dark and cold mansion. It was his birthday. He had ordered a box of cake mix and cobbled together a cake for himself which he put seven candles on. He wanted to try out something he saw a character do in television. Singing happy birthday to himself, he blew out the candles and made a wish. "Please, make it so I’m not all alone."
Or: Tim is a sad sad sixteen year old who feels all alone because almost everyone he ever loved died.

Ever since he was a kid, he's had nightmares he couldn't explain: falling, a city on fire, a woman's hand going cold in his, a promise made over a body of a man he couldn't save. Grief so heavy he could never explain, so ingrained in his heart long before he understood why it was there. He's seventeen before he finds out why. A whole other life, waiting years to be remembered and it's about to cost this family every secret the've ever kept from him.

Gotham's about to get a hero it never saw coming and the family that spent years deciding what Peter was strong enough to know will find out how much stronger he already was.

Peter takes his hand, helping him stand. "I'm fine, Matt. We're alone. But we- we aren't where we're supposed to be."
Matt frowns, head tilting. "Did the portal teleport us to a different part of the city?" Peter presses his lips into a thin line, rubbing the back of his head in thought.
Strange said it was meant to send the other versions of him back to their rightful universes — but what did that mean for someone who was already in their universe?
