Summary
During a raid on an AIM base, the Avengers find a pair of cryotubes in a basement laboratory. When they release the men inside, they find that they are none other than the Winter Soldiers, the assassins so mysterious that most people in the Intelligence community consider them little more than a ghost story. However, as they learn more about the Soldiers, Sam and Natasha begin to suspect that the Soldiers may not have been operating under their own free will.
Soldat and Kapitan wake from cryo to new handlers unlike anyone they've encountered before. Captain Wilson and Agent Romanoff seem to have no interest in hurting them, wiping their memories, or sending them on missions. As the Soldiers adapt to this kinder status quo, they must decide how far they are willing to go to protect their new handlers from their old ones.Series

Tim Drake is getting used to the Young Justice universe: to this Bruce and Dick caring about him as more than a tool, to this Jason and Damian not trying to kill him, to being allowed to take antidepressants. If only they would stop treating him like he's fragile and let him be useful as Red Robin, things would be really good.
Except the Ra's al Ghul of this universe wants Tim to be his heir. He has kidnapped Jay and Dami and given Tim a choice: enter the Lazarus Pit or watch them die.

Jason goes to Titans Tower to attack Tim. Instead, the two road-trip across the country from San Francisco back to Gotham. Featuring greasy diner food, shitty motels, talks about trauma in the bed of a pickup truck, and as many metaphors about roads as I can possibly cram in here. And stars, for some reason.
