    In order to quell the calls for Mobei-Jun’s marriage to sire an heir for the North, Shang Qinghua comes up with the brilliant idea of announcing to the court that he was pregnant, and that he and Mobei-Jun had been secretly married for several years. The court settles back down with their fears assuaged, but then the King of the North and his advisor comes across a few problems: one, they aren’t married; two, some of the court are trying to get rid of Shang Qinghua and his baby; and three, the worst one of all—

    — there was never any baby to begin with.

    OR

    Shang Qinghua’s objectives: to find a magic flower or plant to give him pregnancy capabilities, marry his crush, and get dicked down so fast that their lie holds up in court. Not in that particular order.
