This fanfic takes place in the first book- but everything's a little different. Although they are all friends, Nico still doesn't trust Mark. Last time he saw him was when Dani helped him get the toy plane back. Monica still dislikes Dorian, Mark knows they are witches, and Nico has yet to turn into a small lil fella, and Pendragon is still a lil shit. Anyways... In the middle of a magic lesson the village is attacked by witches. What confuses Dani and Dorian though- is that they've never seen them before. Sure they wont know ALL the witches but these people look really odd. Kind of like the people their parents warned them about. Confused about who these people could be, they grab their friends and hide. All is good 9somewhat) until the witches unexpectedly call out for...Nico? what would they want with Nico..?
