Rebecca thinks she has finally found her place in the world. She's at peace in the acres her father left her. The sky is blue, the air is clean, the meadows are green. She feels just a bit lonely, but she doesn't complain: she has the sheeps and her father's books to keep her company and to teach her about her new world.
But not everything is written in George Hardy's Guide to Sheepraising, and the few shelves that the caravan had were surprisingly full of crime books and devastatingly void of books on how to repair a water close.
But maybe her dad left her one last clue, a trace to follow to find someone who could help her.OR: Rebecca Hampstead (now Hardy) had had a very sh!tty life until his father found her. She was now so happy that her existence radically changed.
