A mother holds her child, talking of a bird called a robin, not knowing one day the child they hold will bleed for the name of it.
Mary, Catherine, Janet, Crystal, and Talia, all at different times; Holding their children, holding future heroes, vigilantes, and future siblings, not knowing of what the future holds for their children.
Not knowing that one day they will save the world time and time again, all under the name of Robin.

Christmas Eve is here.
Wayne Manor is full of warmth, love, and family. Glowing golden and bright against the cold snow.
Tim inhaled shakily, as he knelt before the headstones, placing a bouquet of flowers in front of each one. His mother was buried on this day four years ago.
So he grieves and he tries to heal.
Tim turns from his mothers grave, tears frozen on his cheeks and leans into Bruce's embrace.
His mother was gone. So was his father. And he, the last Drake, left alone again.
But he had found a family, a family that loved him, a family that stayed.

Tim visits his mothers grave every Christmas Eve, grieving of what he lost, what he could've had, and what he never had in the first place.

There is a reason Bruce found out he’s good at being a detective. There is a reason Oliver Queen gets on the boat.
