Summary
After Caine's torture of the players, he returns to sanity and manages to stay for a little longer than in the show, time enough to express the horror and regret of his own actions.
But still, the deletion happens, and the players are left in a broken circus now filled with voices echoing all of their regrets.
All is not lost, though, as Kinger realises that maybe they can still be saved; the key to getting the circus back is, of course, rather obvious. Caine is needed.

After the fallout with Silvermane, Hardy, and generally getting his ass kicked before the ‘day was saved’ and they found their ‘happy ending,’ Reilly had gotten a comfortable week nursing his wounds and chumming around with his friends.
Going from zero to 100 in a little over a week was catching up to him. As such, he was not expecting to wake up one morning sick.
