Bucky was… he was actually doing pretty well, to his own surprise.
With things with Sam and the other… Avengers mostly sorted, things were getting somewhere he could handle. Even if he had taken that flerken kitten, she was actually not all that difficult to deal with once you got over the tentacles.
Of course, things weren’t that simple. Not for him. Not when he was already in a universe that was trying to tear itself apart at the seams.

In bed, they could still have the stars as a backdrop. The faux moonlight framed Simon's face and body nicely, soft lighting landing on hard muscle and scar tissue. He worked his way back up eventually, and the next kiss they shared was deep enough to pull a small groan from Ryland's throat. Simon groaned back, tongue gently pushing past Ryland's lips. Ryland complied and responded in kind.
