Jamie realizes that he really should tell Simon how much he appreciates his stepdad, especially after putting up with him when he was a teenager. A text the next morning leads to more conversation between Jamie and Simon than they've ever had before, and Jamie starts to understand that maybe Simon isn't just the dorky guy who married his mum, that the two of them are proper family, too.
