Summary
The prophecy was as old as the conflicts between sentient kind. The galaxy had been a peaceful place in perfect balance until sentients learned deceit, betrayal, and conflict, and those gifted by what had been commonly known as the Force had splintered it into two. The Dark, and the Light. At first, they were equal. Neither good or bad, until those who sank into the Dark twisted it into something corrupting, and those who sank into the Light became self-righteous.
The Gods born of the Force created the prophecy to lessen the conflict to a level where the Galaxy wouldn’t be ripped apart. Every few thousand of years or so, the Dark and the Light would each birth a child into the galaxy to battle and determine which side would fall over the Galaxy.
Now the Chosen Ones are due to be born again, and the Jedi are desperate to keep the Galaxy in the Light as the Dark rise up once more.Bookmarked by Vanezza_2004

Summary
Prompt request: Lanie and the boys get tired of the subtext and decide to set them up on a blind date with each other.
Set during/after "Food to Die For" (2x22), borrowed the poker scene from "A Deadly Game" (2x24) but this episode isn't relevant to the story, I just realised Castle doesn't have known friends (that I can think of, anyway).

A man towers over the boy, a red tie hung loosely on his hand. He snakes its way underneath his son's collar and begins to tie it.
Izuku, do you remember the time I told you how All Might had nearly killed me?
The boy only stares, unseeing at everything around him. He nods as a response. Black gloves were carefully slid into his hands by his father.
Yes, someday he will hurt you too. And we will do whatever it takes to protect our family.
Now fully dressed, the adult turns and stands by his son's side. A splitting image of a parent and a child reflected against the body-length mirror, if not for the mask that he still continued to use even if he was healed. A large hand rested at the boy's shoulder that kept him pressed up against the villain's side.I look forward to spending more quality time with you and your mother.
(Alternatively, midoriya izuku “died”. All Might is out to avenge his mentor and successor´s deaths. A few months later, a final battle occurs and a boy is reborn into something darker and more sinister. Harnessed by potential and “training”, to become the perfect weapon for his father.)
