Summary
This nameless boy remembered absolutely nothing. Not his name, not his age, not his family and certainly not his home. In fact, he didn't even remember if there was ever anything to remember at all. Maybe that was for the better, though.
In the first moments after he awoke, all he knew was the ice-cold thrum of crashing waves against his skin and jagged stone tearing into him. All he knew in his first waking moments was pain and desperation.
But then he washed up on the shore of Gotham City without a penny to a name he didn't have either, and the city called out to him. It wouldn't let him go, and he wouldn't be the one to deny it what it wanted. So, he stepped into the cold grasp of the city, and he did his best to find his stride. But Gotham had secrets, and he was determined to find them out, even when his heart was torn between making a home in the city and turning back to a home he didn't even remember.
