Summary
He remembers Bachira’s teary eyes, Isagi's worried ones. They don’t know how hard they’re allowed to dig, how to uncover the reasons why he did what he did, or how to bring attention to what he’s been chasing.
Rin doesn’t even know how to describe it; all he feels can’t be contained in such a small box. It's label-less, massive, and overpowering in size.
Or: Rin commits suicide, it doesn't go the way he planned

Summary
Fresh out of school and on summer break leading up to his last year of high school, Itoshi Rin is set to spend these next three and a half months of his break shutting out the entire world, and doing what he does best: oil painting.
But Sae, one last time, gives a shake of his head. “You’re going to the Isagi household.”
"I'm going to what?"Out go his initial plans to oil paint all summer and with Sae's force, Rin happens to take up a gardening job at the friendly Isagi household. The son, however, is a total mystery. As long as Rin does his job and doesn't get close with him, then it should be fine, right?
He never expected that upon meeting Isagi, feelings begin to swell up like a festering, raw wound. Unfortunately, whether Rin likes it or not, things start to happen between them.

Summary
"But just think about it, Shidou. He has never looked at a woman in his life—"
"He hasn't looked at anyone. That's autism at this point."
"—and now comes someone who gets him all riled up in a matter of 3 minutes. That's awesome!"
"Bachira, they bumped into each other."
"That's how every great story starts, don't you read fanfiction?"
"I do! But this isn't AO3, this is our best friend. You can't go and play the author just because you want to."
"Oh, please. Where did your fun stroke go?"
"Lecture was shit."
"And now?"
"And now... I don't think I'll be mentally available for your mind games for a few days."
"Booo! In a few days it'll all be wasted, we gotta act now."
"Ok, then. What's the plan?"
"We'll play cupid."
"I got that. Elaborate."
"The eyes, chico. They never lie."
"Oh, come on!"
"I'm dead serious! Did you not see how they looked at each other!?"
"You'll end up dead, if he catches wind of this!"

Summary
It's been 6 years since the world has heard Yoichi Isagi's name; 6 long years of laying unconscious in a hospital bed. A sterile, lifeless room with a hallow body. After waking from his his coma, Isagi is left with puzzles following his world and small, but desperate, attempts to remember the past. He comes to meet an "old" friend, a teammate he once shared the pitch with—Rin Itoshi. A quiet man that no longer plays football with the toxic writhing passion he once had. Just a shell of a footballer that lost their world.
No matter how hard Rin tries to keep Isagi away, the sprout never left him alone— neither did the past; harsh reminders and flashbacks pull Rin back to reality. He let the delusions of living a normal life go; Rin only lives within the walls that once had love residing inside.
As Rin's everyday life becomes a harder challenge by the day, he clashes with Isagi wherever he goes.
A black string everyone said.
Maybe red?
What if it was both?
or!
Isagi wakes up from a coma 6 years after winning the world cup with no memory of the past while Rin struggles to let go of the deep bonds they once shared.
