With that thought, Dan looked down at the bear and decided that he was going to just properly go for it. He remembered what Phil had said: "Just pretend I’m not here, pretend you’re home alone."

Dan meets it with a small nod, the previously light atmosphere suddenly crushing him with its weight, with the promise of what’s to come.
It takes away some of the shyness. Dan feels himself slip into his role.

He drags Dan down it with one hand and waits until they're about halfway to the end. There's no one around, and barely any ground floor windows - the ground floor is businesses, so someone would really have to be looking to see them right now. Phil doesn't care much if they are. This won't take long.
