This caught Shadow Milk’s attention, his gaze drifted upward. Above their bench, woven into the lantern-lit arch, hung a small bunch of dark green leaves and white berries, tied with red ribbon.
In all light, he had noticed it there from the start, but he figured it was more decoration people did for the Festa. He didn’t think it held any more value other than that.
He pointed, questioning. “Like that?”
Pure Vanilla’s eyes went wide, it must have been his first time noticing it there. He looked quickly back at Shadow Milk, cheeks coloring deeply. “Yes. Exactly like that.”

Shadow Milk gets saved by Pure Vanilla from a trap and end up being brought back to his cabin. This results in him having to hide the being he truly is.

Pearl wakes up in the middle of the night, messy, filled with more panic than her little puppy brain can manage. She runs into the woods, hiding in a scrappy stick fort, just trying her best to calm down before she can get back home and fix what she'd done.
But Cleo's voice calls out her name…
Pearl knows she's screwed.;Or, Pearl has an accident and hides in the woods as she panics. Cleo finds her and tries her best to calm her down, but Pearl's head is stuck in a flashback and convinced that they must be furious with her. Slowly, ever so slowly, Cleo manages to clean up the nightmare and get a little, self-hating puppy to sleep.

Summary
Being baked as a fully grown adult with all of the knowledge in the universe and being expected to bring peace to Earthbread (when a normal cookie wouldn't even know how to walk yet) is undoubtedly traumatizing. As much as he doesn't want to admit it, Shadow Milk wishes that he was given a chance to be a normal kid who was loved unconditionally without the expectations that came along with his Soul Jam. He may not be able to turn back time, but he can find comfort in disguising himself as a child (who he named "Blueberry Cream Cookie") and allowing himself to indulge in his more childish impulses with Pure Vanilla at his side.

Jason’s completely lost track of time. Roman’s managed to succeed in keeping him down enough to lose time and not react beyond direct orders, but present enough to be aware of everything happening to him. His only saving grace is that Roman’s interest in him as a dom is limited to humiliation and run of the mill power play. Apparently, even though Jason would argue the opposite due to the goddamn gimp mask, Roman isn’t in any way sexually interested in men. But that doesn’t mean Jason’s got off easy.

Fuck, I never thought I would be saying that.” Angel laughs again, and Husk can hear the tears forming as it catches in Angel’s throat. The spider is blushing furiously, eyes glistening, still chuckling under his breath; Husk is starting to worry that Angel is delirious.
The cat blinks slowly. “What exactly do you mean by that?”
“Can you…” Angel trails off, burying his face in his hands. His fingers claw at his hair. “I don’t know what I want. I’m so fucking confused. I need you to be in control right now.” Angel meets Husk’s eyes in a deep stare, and there’s so much confusion and terror in them that it nearly makes Husk cry as well. “I don’t care what you do to me…” Angel inhales shakily. “Just tell me I’m doing a good job at least.”
