Summary
Warmth avoided Ye-Jun just as often as the cold plagued him.-
He was born into a good family but had one of the most neglectful parents in existence.
He was able to attend prestigious schools up until he entered High School but had classmates that more or less hated him to the bone.
He was surrounded by people but not even one of them liked him.
If this was the universe’s idea of a joke, then Ye-Jun would be cackling until he died from the irony of it.
But if this was how it was meant to be then, fine, let the universe fuck him over in every aspect of his life and let them chuckle at his misfortune.
He’d get the last laugh in the end anyway.

I'm currently rewriting an old fanfic, that I don't quite like anymore. I have changed some stuff both in the plot and in my characters, so I'm rewriting this whole damn thing.
Ares and Athena start out hating each other, but circumstances force them to grow together over a long time frame.
But they are immortal gods, who have all time of the Kosmos.
And as they slowly learn to actually know and understand each other, they grow closer to each other, until they are able to form a deep bond between their souls.
Before Athena knows what's happening, she realises, that love doesn't need to be physical.
Also the Olympians being protective and a tight-knit family, when push comes to shove.Series

Truly a lovely fic!!
First of all, ADORED the relationships. I didn't expect Takemichi and the Haitanis to have such a cute friendship, but here we are! They were absolutely the highlight of early chapters, when Takemichi didn't have the freedom to befriend people yet. Hinata & The Mizo Middle and Takemichi's friendship was done lovely as well. Even when things got busier, it never felt like they were being shafted, which can be a common issue.
I really liked how the author went about changing canon's events. It started off mostly the same, with some small actions that didn't change much in the grand scheme of things (The first major fight with Draken), then the endings changed (Bloody Halloween), before finally the current arc which- while thjngs unfold loosely similar to canon (Takemichi fighting Taiju)- the event itself happened way different, even down to the most miniscule of details (the confrontation happening in the Church's backyard instead of indoors).
The story itself really pulled me in. I hadn't even realised I was at the last chapter until it happened.
There's so much more I want to say that's too difficult to put into words. I just really, really enjoyed this fic. <3
