Summary
Six months ago, the popular space opera Lost Galaxy did the unthinkable: it made the controversial enemy-soldier ship MattKira canon. That would be bad enough on its own, but then anti blogger Rey finds a MattKira fanfiction reblogged onto her dashboard. Her solution? Start hate-reading it and posting a running commentary on just how bad it is.
One problem.
The fic is actually pretty good.
And then the author, KyloRen, sends her a message...

Summary
When she had decided to start shepherding the Adept, Rey had made a vow to herself to help them all—even those imprisoned by their own internal darkness. Camouflaged with the cuff, Kylo would never know that Hux’s war dog was closing in on him until it was too late. That was one death she didn’t want weighing down on her conscience. She’d had the opportunity twice to kill him, but she was still convinced his life was not hers to take. The Force still had a plan for Ben Solo, that she was certain, and securing his safety was just as important and making sure the little girl she sought made it off world and survived as well.

Summary
"You walked all the way here under the rain without even a spell to protect yourself just so you could ask your estranged uncle, whom you hate very much and wished dead several times even in my presence, an advice on a ritual?" He doesn't reply, and his cheeks turn crimson under her gaze, his eyes stubbornly fixed on the wall behind her. "Are you fucking kidding me?"
He clenches his jaw, finally lowering his gaze on her. If looks could kill, Rey thinks, but still - there's a hint of red on his cheeks, and she doesn't know if he's angry or embarrassed.
"I can assure you I'm not".
-- or: Ben and Rey are the only ones in town with powers, and they hate each other. Except they don't, not really.

Bookmarker's Notes
This is a brilliant modern AU, set in the world of E-sports, which touches on the very sensible subjects of harassment and misogyny in this context. A very intense ride.

In the summer of 1945, Reynata Parker is a "Rosie" living in San Francisco, waiting and wondering if her husband, Ben "Skywalker" Solo will return safely from his mission aboard the USS Finalizer in the Pacific Theater.
They’d barely known one another when they’d decided to get married. A few weeks, no more. They’d had a week as man and wife before he’d deployed... and she had spent a lot of time staring at her reflection in her dressing-table mirror, wondering what he had possibly seen in a skinny, plain farm girl from Oklahoma.

“Excuse me,” she growled. “But you’re blocking my way!”
He took a deep breath behind her and she turned back to him, her back pressed against the door. He smoothed his tie down with his free hand but didn’t remove his other, barring her exit.
“We’re not finished yet.” He was slightly out of breath from sprinting across his office to catch her. His tone struck her like a teacher’s scolding a student who refused to learn a lesson.
“I’d prefer we end this meeting now, Senator,” she said. “It’s obvious we’re not going to reach an agreement today, and we have nothing further to discuss.”
“I agree,” he nodded curtly but stepped towards her, into her space. “Because I know that when you come to your senses, you’ll join me.”

Summary
Rey worked two days a week at Plutt’s repair shop fixing people’s fancy phones and tablets, and two days a week at Maz’s Place bartending until all hours and still wasn’t making enough to afford both her rent and essentials - like soap. And food.
She was really excited at Finn’s offer to get her a temp job on the film set he’d been working on - but his cagey demeanor was making her nervous.
When pressed for details, Finn sighed and closed his eyes, holding up his hands in surrender.
“Okay, I’m just gonna say it. It’s porn.”
Going way outside of her comfort zone and knowing it might be a horrible idea - Rey takes the job.

“It was foolish of you to come here,” he says. “You won’t escape this time.”
Rey looks at him, at the Stormtroopers, at the combat walkers. She gives the illusion of thinking it over, and then says, “You’re right."
She presents her wrists to him. “I surrender myself to the authority of the First Order.”
--
Three years after the Battle of Crait, Rey, Resistance hero and teacher to a budding new Jedi Order, once again delivers herself into the hands of the enemy. To provide cover for a maneuver that could deal a serious blow to the First Order, she must gamble with the thing she knows its Supreme Leader wants most: herself.
